Founders joins the Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon and Duathlon on Saturday, Sept. 7th as the Post-Race Celebration Sponsor.  A new element to the event, athletes and spectators 21 and over can celebrate their completion of the race with a Founders’ favorite - All Day IPA.  The post-race celebration has been re-located to Wege Plaza at the East Grand Rapids Community Center overlooking Reeds Lake and will include a social media photo booth, award presentation, raffle and more.  All participants will receive one complimentary ticket for a beverage.

Spectators and community residents can also join in the celebration and support The Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.  All proceeds from refreshment sales will go directly to the foundation, the triathlon’s beneficiary.

“We are delighted to help support this exciting annual EGR event and to help support the good work that Mary Free Bed Hospital provides,” said Co-Founder and President Dave Engbers. “Many of us live in this wonderful community and even a few have participated in the triathlon and know firsthand nothing is better than enjoying a cold beer at the end.”

Founders’ participation in this event would not be possible without Alliance Beverage Distributing.  Family owned and operated, Alliance Beverage Distributing offers a wide variety of beverages to local retail establishments, restaurants, and neighborhood taverns.
