Enhancing greater Grand Rapids through sports.

The West Michigan Sports Commission (WMSC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established in 2007 to foster economic development by attracting sporting events which improve our citizens' quality of life and elevates the brand of Grand Rapids. The WMSC secures and hosts youth and amateur sporting events to positively impact the economy and quality of life in the region. Since its inception, the WMSC has booked 882 events attracting more than 1.4 million athletes and visitors, generating over $410 million in direct visitor spending.
