Enhancing greater Grand Rapids through sports.

The West Michigan Sports Commission (WMSC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was established in 2007 to foster economic development by attracting sporting events which improve our citizens' quality of life and elevates the brand of Grand Rapids. The WMSC secures and hosts youth and amateur sporting events to positively impact the economy and quality of life in the region. Since its inception, the WMSC has booked 1,433 events attracting more than 2.8 million athletes and visitors, generating over $822 million in direct visitor spending.

Choose Where Your Gift Makes an Impact
Donations can be directed to one of two funds. Contributions to the Victory Lap Community Fund support programs that increase access to sports, remove participation barriers, and create inclusive opportunities for athletes and communities across West Michigan.
