Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races of varying difficulty, ranging from 3 miles to ultra-marathon distances of 50k+.
Nuway Nationals
Nuway is the nation’s leading youth sports combat tournament company. This event will include Wrestling & Youth MMA.
NXTPro Hoops
NXTPRO Hoops brings players, parents, coaches and recruiters the resources they need to reach the NXT level. They offer camps and tournaments for top basketball prospects across the country to get visibility from college coaches and recruiters.
Using MSA Woodland, MSA Fieldhouse, & West Catholic HS.
PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships
The PDGA Amateur Disc Golf World Championships were awarded to Grand Rapids in December 2022. Courses being used are Brewer Park (main location), Fallasburg Park, GR Rotary North DGC, & Johnson Park

July 13-14: Kids Race 1-3K +Obstacles
July 14: Sprint 5K 20 Obstacles
Volunteer
All Spartan Volunteers will receive a free race credit, volunteer tech t-shirt, sandwich for lunch, snacks, water, free parking and free bag check. Full day volunteer also receive a volunteer hoodie and a $60 online merchandise credit.

NCAA DII Women’s Midwest Regional Tournament
Grand Valley State University has been selected as the #1 seed in the midwest region and will be hosting the regional tournament. Games will be played on March 15, 16, & 18.
Women’s Championship Tournament - Michigan State USBC
The Michigan State USBC will host their 2024 Women’s Championship Tournament at Station 300 (Grandville) and Westgate Bowl (Comstock Park).

Location
Millennium Park, one of the nation’s largest urban parks featuring 1,400 acres of rolling terrain and 5 miles of frontage on the Grand River will be the site of the 2023 race.
